Moscow and St. Petersburg 2022

This 9-day tour has 3 nights in Moscow and 5 nights in St. Petersburg. The tour is based on 4-star boutique hotels - Tverskaya Marriott hotel in Moscow, Sokos Vasilievsky hotel in St. Petersburg. Full day sightseeing everyday. Lunches (6) are served in theme restaurants only. Welcome dinner in Moscow, welcome and farewell dinner in St. Petersburg. Moscow: Arrive to Moscow - the capital of Russia, a home for 10 million people. Its history dates back to the 12th century. Russians say that the history of Moscow is the history of the whole Russian country.         Extensive guided tours feature all highlights of Moscow. Enjoy "Moscow by Night" tour on arrival day. Visit Kremlin, the former residence of the Czars. See Kremlin Cathderals, Belfry of Ivan the Terrible, the Czar Bell and the Czar Cannon. Admire the Armory - the treasury of the Czars. Stroll across the Red Square and see St. Basil Cathedral - a landmark of the capital with bright onion-shaped cupolas, drive to the Sparrow Hills – the best viewpoint of Moscow, attend morning service in the huge Cathedral of Christ the Savior, visit the ancient Novodevichy Convent, visit Poklonnaya Hill and the largest painting in the world Borodino Panorama. Enjoy a walk through the Old Arbat pedestrian street. Leave Moscow on Monday afternoon by comfortable high speed train "Sapsan". The distance is 700 km, travel time is 3 hour 40 min. St. Peterburg: Arrive to St. Petersburg in the evening. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and welcome dinner. A city of infinite charm with its majestic palaces and cathedrals, embankments and innumerable bridges it has a relatively short but outstanding history. Founded in 1703 by Peter the Great, St. Petersburg was the capital of Russian Empire for almost 200 years. No longer a capital city now it still preserves its imperial grandeur. Start with a panoramic city tour with visit to the Peter & Paul Fortress & Cathedral – the sepulchre of all Russian Emperors. Visit the famous Hermitage museum. Visit Catherine's and Paul's imperial palaces in Pushkin and Pavlovsk with lunch at rustic restaurant with Cossack's singing. Tour the Yusupov Palace with a room where Rasputin was killed. Admire St. Isaac’s - a world fourth cupola cathedral and the Church on the Spilt Blood - the site of the murder of a Russian Czar. Have a boat trip along the Neva River and canals. Cross the Gulf of Finland by hydrofoil to reach the famous Peterhof. Enjoy its fountains, Grand Cascade and the Bath House of the Empress. Farewell dinner is served in the theme Russian Kitch restaurant. Have a pleasant flight home. Good bye and see you again...

Note: in winter period Oct 25-April 30 the program will be slightly changed because the rivers are frozen. The package is based on 3 weekend nights in Moscow so your arrival should fall on Friday otherwise we reserve the right to recalculate the price. You can pick up any date of arrival during following periods: January 01-13, May 01-12 and July 22-August 09. IMPORTANT: Extra charge is taken for the period of May 13-July 15 in St. Petersburg because of White Night period. The package does not include airfare. 

INCLUDED: accommodation in double or twin room with breakfast daily in shown hotels or better (8 nights), all tours and transfers by private car (2 guests) or minivan (4-6 guests) or minibus (8-14 guests) with professional guide (main European languages), all entrance fees for museums & parks, 6 lunches, 3 dinners, high-speed train ticket Moscow-St.Petersburg, all taxes.

NOT INCLUDED: tips, insurance, airfare and Russian visa. These costs have to be covered by the client. All necessary documents for obtaining Russian visa will be sent upon receiving a deposit.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATIONS: 10% non-refundable deposit is needed in 2 weeks after the booking was made. Full payment is due 30 days prior the arrival date. If cancelled 15 days prior to arrival - 50% of the tour cost is refunded. Cancellations made later than 15 days prior to arrival or no-show are not refunded.
