Radisson SAS Royal Hotel
The Radisson SAS Royal Hotel is a new five-star hotel located in the very center of St. Petersburg. It was opened in a 4-story building in 2001 after refurbishment. The hotel building dates back to 1730. It has a colorful history and is considered to be one of the first buildings constructed in this part of the city. Cultural and major public events such as revolutions and wars greatly affected the building. Original interiors were demolished but the unique facade has been preserved reflecting its history. The hotel is decorated in classical decor, its rooms and suites will satisfy any requirements. The Radisson is conveniently located not far away from all major attractions of the Northern Capital.
The Hermitage, Russian Museum, St. Isaac's Cathedral and many other places of note are situated within walking distance from the hotel. Radisson SAS Royal offers to its guests 164 rooms including 17 suites. All rooms have all the necessary amenities and are decorated according to classic designs. Standard, Superior and Business class rooms and suites are available. All rooms have air conditioning, satellite and cable TV, direct-dial telephones, personal safe, mini-bar, hair-drier, trouser presses, fax and PC connections. Smoke detectors, sprinkles and fire alarms are installed in all rooms.
The Barbazan Restaurant seating up to 108 persons serves both traditional Russian and Mediterranean cuisine. In addition to the main hall, there are two banquet halls for 18 persons each. The Cannel Bar and Cafe is a great place for meeting friends. Snacks, cocktails and drinks are on offer late into the night.
